Most people buy the wrong product. This guide fixes that.

They see a panel online, order 12 of them, stick them on the wrong wall — and wonder why the room still sounds bad. Or they buy a door kit when they actually needed a curtain. Or ceiling tiles when the problem was the walls. Or panels when the problem was the door gaps.

The Arrowzoom Product Guide exists so that doesn't happen to you. It's a free PDF that covers our full product range — acoustic panels, ceiling tiles, wall kits, door kits, soundproof curtains, bass traps, and more. It explains what each product does, what it doesn't do, and which one is right for your specific room and problem — before you spend a dollar.

93% of readers rate it 5 stars. The most common review: "I wish I'd found this before buying."

What's inside the guide

  1. Acoustic Panels — the full product rangeFoam panels, polyester fabric panels, ceiling tiles, wall kits. What each type does, what surface it goes on, and which problems each one actually solves. No jargon.
  2. Door Kits and Soundproof CurtainsWhen to use an adhesive door kit vs. a hanging curtain. How gaps around the frame matter more than the door itself. Which solution works for renters and which is for permanent installs.
  3. Bass Traps — why your corners matter mostLow-frequency buildup happens in corners first. This chapter explains why, where to place bass traps, and how many you actually need for your room size.
  4. Wall Insulation Panels and Coverage PlanningThe difference between decorative panels and real acoustic treatment. How to calculate coverage for your room. Which products work on which wall surfaces.
  5. Adhesives and Installation MethodsWhat holds panels to a wall without wrecking the paint. What you should never use. How to install removably for renters. Step-by-step for peel-and-stick, tape, and construction adhesive.
  6. Room-by-Room Application GuideHome recording studio, podcast booth, gaming room, home theater, home office, workshop, nursery — each room type gets its own recommended product combination and layout.
  7. Color Combinations and Room PlanningRoom-tested color layouts and visual mockups for every product type. See how the finished room looks before you commit to a color or pattern.
  8. Packaging, Facilities & Company BackgroundWhere Arrowzoom products are made, how they're packaged, and what quality standards are applied. Know who you're buying from before you commit.
First-time buyer? Start with Chapter 6 — the room-by-room guide. Find your room type, read the recommended layout, then come back to the product chapters for the specific items. Most people get it right on the first order this way.

Who this guide is for

First-time buyersYou've never bought acoustic or soundproofing products before. You're not sure where to start, what the difference between products is, or how many you need. This guide starts at zero and gets you ready to buy with confidence.
People who've already bought wrongYou have panels on your walls and the room still sounds bad. Or you treated the walls and forgot the door. This guide explains what's missing and how to fix it without starting over.
Room builders and studio designersYou're setting up a home studio, podcast booth, gaming room, or workshop and want to get it right from the start. The room-by-room chapter gives you a complete treatment plan for each space type.

FAQ

Is this actually free? What's the catch?

No catch. It's a PDF guide we send to help you buy the right product the first time. A customer who buys right doesn't return — that's the whole business model. Enter your email, get the guide, use it or don't.

How do I get the guide?

Add it to your cart and complete the free checkout. You'll receive an email with the PDF attached or a download link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.

Does it cover all Arrowzoom products — not just acoustic foam panels?

Yes — that's the point. The guide covers our full product range: acoustic panels, ceiling tiles, polyester fabric panels, wall kits, door kits, soundproof curtains, bass traps, and more. If Arrowzoom makes it, the guide covers it.

I already bought some products. Is this still useful?

Yes — especially if your room still doesn't sound the way you expected. The guide covers common mistakes (wrong placement, wrong coverage, wrong product for the problem) and how to fix them without buying everything again.

What's the difference between acoustic treatment and soundproofing?

Acoustic treatment controls how sound behaves inside a room — reducing echo and reverb so the room sounds better. Soundproofing reduces how much sound passes between rooms — requiring mass, seals, and decoupled construction. The guide covers both and helps you identify which problem you're actually trying to solve.

Will the guide tell me exactly which products to buy?

It gives you the framework: which product categories work for which room types, how much coverage you need, and what to avoid. It doesn't push specific SKUs — it gives you the knowledge to choose correctly yourself. Then the product pages do the rest.

Is it available in languages other than English?

Currently English only. Contact service@arrowzoom.com if you need support in another language.

Can I share the guide with someone?

Yes — share it freely. If it helps someone else buy right the first time, that's exactly what it's for.

What's the difference between impact and airborne noise? 🔊

1. Airborne Noise

  • This travels through the air, like conversations, TV sounds, or barking dogs. When sound waves hit a building, they cause it to vibrate, transmitting through the structure.

2. Impact Noise

  • This results from physical impacts on buildings, such as footsteps, slamming doors, or moving furniture. Impact noise can be harder to isolate, as these vibrations are stronger and travel further through dense materials.

What are decibels? 📏

Decibels are measured logarithmically (not as a percentage) . This means that every increase of 10dB on the scale is a tenfold increase in sound pressure level (SPL) . Near silence is 0dB 🤫, while a sound at 10dB is ten times louder!

  • 30-40 dB = Soft music, whisper 🎶
  • 60-80 dB = Office noise, traffic 🚗
  • 85-100 dB (HARMFUL) = Subway, shouted convo, chainsaw ⚠️
  • 100-140 dB (DANGEROUS) = Chainsaw, loud concert, racing, shooting range 🚨
