Stop the Scrape. Save the Floor. Quiet the Room.

Every time a chair slides, a barstool drags, or a sofa shifts, you hear it — and so does the apartment below. Arrowzoom Silent Self-Adhesive Tape (KK1453) cushions the contact point so the noise never starts. EVA-foam core absorbs the impact, anti-slip grip layer holds the leg in place, and a self-adhesive backing rated for rough furniture feet keeps it stuck. Trim to size. Peel. Stick. Done.

Honest note: This is not acoustic absorption — it's impact noise reduction at the source. The scraping, dragging, and footfall sound that travels through the floor into walls and ceilings starts at the contact point. Kill it there and you don't need to treat anything else.

How It Works

Furniture noise is mostly structure-borne, not airborne. When a chair leg drags across tile, the energy transfers into the floor and radiates as sound — into your room, into the wall, and into the unit below. Foam pads slip. Felt pads slide and glaze on hard floors. Rubber discs grip but squeak and leave marks. KK1453 uses a three-layer build:

  • Top adhesive layer locks onto the furniture foot — even rough plastic glides or unfinished wood
  • EVA-foam core compresses on contact, absorbing impact before it becomes sound
  • Anti-slip base grips the floor without leaving residue on wood, tile, or laminate

What's in the Box

  • 4, 8, or 20 strips (per the pack you chose)
  • Pre-cut, pre-scored adhesive backing — ready to peel
  • No glue, no tools, no replacement parts

Install in 3 Steps

  1. Clean the foot. Wipe each furniture leg with rubbing alcohol or a dry microfiber cloth. Adhesive bonds best to a clean, dry surface.
  2. Trim and peel. Cut the strip to match the leg's footprint with scissors. Peel the backing.
  3. Press and hold for 30 seconds. Apply firm pressure so the adhesive grabs. Wait 1 hour before putting full weight on it. That's it.

Made For

Apartment renters

The neighbor downstairs has stopped knocking. The dining chair that woke the baby is silent.

Home offices

Roll back from the desk without a Zoom-call screech. Office chair on hardwood, finally quiet.

Cafes and co-working

Stop the all-day scraping symphony when customers shift their chairs.

Home studios

Stool moves, mic stand shifts, table bumps — no longer captured by a sensitive mic.

Why KK1453 Beats the Alternatives

KK1453 Felt pads Rubber discs

Stays stuck to rough feet Industrial acrylic adhesive Cheap glue, falls off in weeks Usually nail-on or wedge-fit
Trim to leg shape Yes — scissors Fixed circles Fixed discs
Floor marks None — residue-free Felt fuzz on dark floors Black streaks on light floors
Color options Black or Khaki Usually one beige Usually black

Technical Reference: Impact vs. Airborne Noise

There are two kinds of noise in a home, and the fix is different for each. KK1453 only solves one of them — but it's the one most people complain about.

Impact / structure-borne

Footsteps, dragging chairs, dropped objects, sliding stools. The energy travels through floors and walls. KK1453 stops this at the source.

Airborne

Voices, TV, music, traffic. Travels through air and thin walls. KK1453 does not address this — you'd want acoustic panels or door seals for that.

100-Day Guarantee

Try it for 100 days. Floor still scrapes? Send it back.

If KK1453 doesn't quiet the chair, protect your floor, and stay stuck — we refund you. No restocking fee. No "send us a video" runaround. Apply to one chair leg first; if it works, do the rest.

FAQ

Will the adhesive damage my hardwood floor?
No. The adhesive sits between the furniture foot and the strip — it never touches your floor. The grip-layer base is residue-free on sealed wood, tile, laminate, and vinyl.
How long does the adhesive hold?
Most users get 6–12 months per strip on chairs in daily use. Replace when the foam compresses flat or the strip peels at an edge. Heavy furniture (sofas, beds) typically gets 2+ years since the strip isn't repeatedly shifted.
Will it work on a rolling office chair?
KK1453 is designed for static furniture feet — chairs you drag, not roll. For rolling chairs, you want caster wheels with a softer urethane tread instead.
Does it work on tile?
Yes — tile is actually where KK1453 outperforms felt pads the most. Felt glazes and slides on hard glossy tile. The EVA foam plus grip base stays planted.
Can I cut it to fit an oddly shaped chair leg?
Yes. Use scissors. The strip is rated to be trimmed without losing adhesion. Plan to cover roughly 70% of the foot's footprint for best grip.
Will it actually quiet noise to the apartment below me?
For impact noise (chair scrape, stool drag, table bumps) — yes, significantly. For airborne noise (voices, TV, music) — no. Most "downstairs neighbor" complaints are impact noise, which is why this product exists.
How is this different from cheap felt pads from the hardware store?
Three things. Felt slides and glazes on hard floors — KK1453's grip base holds. Felt adhesive fails in weeks — our acrylic adhesive holds 6–12 months. Felt comes in fixed circles — KK1453 strips trim to any leg shape.
What if it doesn't work for my furniture?
Send it back within 100 days for a full refund. No restocking, no questions. Test one chair first — that's our standard recommendation.
How many strips do I need?
One strip per furniture leg. A dining set of 6 chairs = 24 legs = the pack of 20 plus a single 4-pack, or two 20-packs if you want spares.
Black or Khaki — which should I choose?
Black blends with dark wood, metal chair legs, and most office furniture. Khaki blends with light oak, beige sofa feet, and unfinished wood. Both perform identically — color is cosmetic.

What's the difference between impact and airborne noise? 🔊

1. Airborne Noise

  • This travels through the air, like conversations, TV sounds, or barking dogs. When sound waves hit a building, they cause it to vibrate, transmitting through the structure.

2. Impact Noise

  • This results from physical impacts on buildings, such as footsteps, slamming doors, or moving furniture. Impact noise can be harder to isolate, as these vibrations are stronger and travel further through dense materials.

What are decibels? 📏

Decibels are measured logarithmically (not as a percentage) . This means that every increase of 10dB on the scale is a tenfold increase in sound pressure level (SPL) . Near silence is 0dB 🤫, while a sound at 10dB is ten times louder!

  • 30-40 dB = Soft music, whisper 🎶
  • 60-80 dB = Office noise, traffic 🚗
  • 85-100 dB (HARMFUL) = Subway, shouted convo, chainsaw ⚠️
  • 100-140 dB (DANGEROUS) = Chainsaw, loud concert, racing, shooting range 🚨
