How It Works
Furniture noise is mostly structure-borne, not airborne. When a chair leg drags across tile, the energy transfers into the floor and radiates as sound — into your room, into the wall, and into the unit below. Foam pads slip. Felt pads slide and glaze on hard floors. Rubber discs grip but squeak and leave marks. KK1453 uses a three-layer build:
- Top adhesive layer locks onto the furniture foot — even rough plastic glides or unfinished wood
- EVA-foam core compresses on contact, absorbing impact before it becomes sound
- Anti-slip base grips the floor without leaving residue on wood, tile, or laminate
