The KK1248 mat decouples the drum kit from the floor structure, so the impact never makes it to your neighbor's ceiling.
How it works
Two layers do two jobs. The dense base layer absorbs and dissipates low-frequency vibration from kick drums and pedals. The textured top layer grips your drum hardware so the kit stays put on hardwood, tile, or laminate. Together they break the path that turns every kick hit into a thump downstairs.

Which size do I need for an electronic drum kit?
The 63 × 31 in (160 × 80 cm) size fits most compact electronic drum kits. Measure your kit footprint, including pedals and throne position, before ordering.
Will it fit a full acoustic drum set?
The 63 × 47 in (160 × 120 cm) size fits most standard acoustic drum kits. Larger setups with multiple cymbal stands may require two mats placed side by side.
Will my drum kit slide on it?
No. The textured top surface grips kick pedals, stands, and drum hardware. Once positioned, the kit stays stable on hardwood, tile, laminate, or low-pile carpet.
Does it work for electronic drums?
Yes — especially for electronic kits where kick pedal impacts and foot stomping transmit vibration directly into the floor.
Can I cut it to fit?
Yes. Use a sharp utility knife and a straightedge. Cutting will not damage the damping performance.
Does it smell when it arrives?
There may be a faint material smell for the first 24–48 hours. Unroll it in a ventilated room before use. The smell is non-toxic and dissipates fully.
How thick is it? Will it raise the drum kit too much?
Just 0.4 in (1 cm). Thin enough to stay low-profile, thick enough to absorb vibration and impact noise.
Will it scratch my hardwood floor?
No — the bottom surface is soft and helps protect the floor underneath from kick pedals, stands, and drum throne movement.
